The Iron Gate Dam is 188 feet high, 745 feet long and 20 feet wide at its top.  The Iron Gate Reservoir has a capacity of 58,000 acre feet and is seven miles long. The dam, and surrounding land, is owned by PacificCorp. The PacificCorp hydro-electric system includes the Link River Dam, Keno Dam, J.C.Boyle Dam, Copco No. 1 Dam, Copco No. 2  Dam and Fall Creek Diversion Dam. The dam is used by many people as a dividing point for the Klamath River Watershed.
