Iron Gate Reservoir, is about eight miles east of Interstate 5 near the Oregon border in Siskiyou County. It offers many recreational activities to the public including: fishing, picnicking, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, rafting, hunting,and camping. From Interstate 5, take the Copco Road exit west and follow the road to Iron Gate Reservoir.
